Step 1

Unbox your Legacy Tub and Chiller

1. Unpack the Legacy Tub and Chiller from their respective shipping cartons and remove any protective wrapping.

2. Select a stable and smooth surface with plenty of room for ventilation.

3. Make sure a water source and 110/120V AC socket that is properly grounded are accessible.

*If setting up outdoors, we recommend setting up under a sheltered/covered area to ensure the longevity of your product.

Step 2

Setting up your Legacy Tub

1. Unfold your tub in your desired location.

2. Inflate the tub using the double action air pump included, ensuring that the inflating hose is connected to the inflate side of the pump.

3. Open the inflation valve cap by rotating counterclockwise. Make sure the inflation valve pin on the tub is in an "out" position and not pushed in, or will air will be released after the inflation hose from the pump is detached.

4. Connect the inflation hose to the valve by plugging it in and giving it a quarter turn clockwise. Inflate until the gauge on the pump reaches 8 PSI. DO NOT over inflate or product damage may occur.

5. When done inflating, reconnect the inflation valve with a clockwise turn.

6. Connect the inflation hose to the tub lid and repeat steps 3-5.

7. Attach the White PVC Fittings to the Tub “water out” (red), and “water in” (green) fittings by rotating it clockwise until hand tight. Do not tighten with tools.

Step 3

Installing the External Water Strainer

1. Remove the Protective Cap of the red “Inlet” fitting on the Pro Chiller by rotating counterclockwise. Install the Inner Water Strainer into the red “Inlet” by turning
clockwise.

2. Next, install the silver Water Strainer Cover. This fits over the Inner Water Strainer and should be screwed to hand tight.

Step 4

Connecting your Chiller to the Tub

1. First check that there is at least 12’’ between the chiller and the wall for proper air flow.

2. The green “Water In” fitting on the Tub should connect to the blue “Outlet” on the Chiller. The red “Water Out” fitting on the Tub should connect to the red “Inlet” on the Chiller. To tighten onto tub, thread on the White PVC Fittings and rotate clockwise. The threads should tighten easily and smoothly. If resistance is felt, try attaching the hose again.

Hand tighten only. Overtightening may cause leaking or damage.

Step 5

Filling the Tub

1. Remove the Lower Water Filter Housing, insert a filter and fill the Filter Housing with water. Reconnect the Lower Water Filter Housing by turning right if facing the back of the Chiller until hand tight. Do not use the filter wrench to tighten the water filter housing (for loosening only). The Tub can now be filled with water up to until the water is roughly 15 cm (6 inches) below the underside of the top ring (not more than ⅔ full). Make sure the water level is above the top inlet of the Tub. Overfilling may cause water to overflow from the Tub for some users, though you may fill to your preference.

Step 6

Powering on your Chiller

1. Plug the Chiller into a standard 110v/120v properly grounded AC socket or extension cable that is suitable for use, has a built in surge protector and preferably is IP65 rated.
2. Press the yellow "Test button" on the power cord of the chiller to make sure it Place the Power Plug in an elevated position off the ground and away from water. Do not handle with wet hands.

3. Your chiller will now power on and start circulating the water.

Step 7

Setting the Temperature

1. In the main screen, hold the "Power" button until a heating or cooling indicator icon appears on the screen.

2. After the icon appears, press the function key (Left Most Key) to switch between heating, cooling or auto mode.

3. Once the mode is selected, press the "+" key or "-" key, to adjust the desired temperature. Once the desired temperature is set, wait 2-3 seconds until the display shows the main menu, then your temperature is set. Once the chiller has finished its priming cycle it will start to chill and filter the water within a few minutes.

4. If the unit does not perform any input operation for 60 consecutive seconds, the display screen enters the sleep state, locks automatically, and the Lock button icon lights up.
5. In the lock state, press any key to light up the screen. After holding down the "Power" button for 5 seconds, the buzzer beep will release the lock key, and the Lock icon will be turned off.

Step 8

Connecting to your Phone

1. Download the Smart Life- Smart Living App on your phone.

2. Ensure the device you are using is connected to the WiFi network that you wish to connect the Chiller to, and open the Smart Life application. Important Note: The Smart Life Smart system only works with 2.4 GHz wireless networks. Many wireless networks utilize 5 GHz and may need to be configured at 2.4 GHz. Please contact the manufacturer of your Wi-Fi router for support on this matter if you experience trouble.

3. Hold down the Function and Up buttons until the Wifi symbol flashes. Then press the Down key to enable your chiller to connect to Wifi.

4. Open the Smart Life app and tap on "Add Device". Choose to add a Heat Pump.

5. Enter the Wifi information and press confirm. Install the device.
